Martin is a composer for film, television, and advertising. Most recently, he has focused on writing music for trailers. His adaptation of Patsy Cline's "Walking After Midnight" can be heard in the Season 3 trailer for ABC's mystery drama, Big Sky. Martin's music can also be heard as part of the Tonal Chaos and Atomic Overture production music catalogues.

Martin holds a Master's Degree in Music Theory and Composition from NYU, where he studied with composers such as Ira Newborn, Irwin Fisch, and Mark Suozzo, and was awarded the ASCAP Foundation's Vic Mizzy Scholarship. He has a B.A. in Music from Cornell University, where he wrote, performed, and conducted, and twice received the Barbara Troxell Vocal Music Award.
